Rochdale hit by injuries

Rochdale will be hoping not to be sucked in to the Championship relegation battle as they go to France without six players on Saturday.

Hornets have a three point cushion over Swinton and four over Oldham in the race to avoid the drop, but a win for either of those sides this weekend could have Alan Kilshaw’s men looking over their shoulders.

They face a tricky trip to Toulouse, already guaranteed a home play-off game, on Saturday night and will fly without six first-teamers.

Lewis Foster (hip), Miles Greenwood (knee), Kevin Penny (leg) and Rob Massam (knee) are all sidelined through injury.

Jono Smith is unavailable due to a concussion sustained in last week’s defeat by Batley, while Jo Taira will miss out due to visa issues.

Rochdale have conceded at least 50 points in both their meetings with Toulouse so far this season, losing 56-16 in France and 52-14 in the return fixture.
