Gildart set for Super League return

Leeds are set to land Oliver Gildart for the remainder of the 2022 season. (Leeds Live)

The England international has struggled to cement a spot at Wests Tigers, making just eight appearances in 2022. He is reported to be joining the Dolphins for the 2023 campaign.

Jorge Taufua arrives in Wakefield

Wakefield have welcomed new arrival Jorge Taufua from the NRL. He joins on a deal until the end of 2023.

Castleford offer support to O’Neill

Castleford have offered their support to their former player Jacques O’Neill after he decided to leave hit reality TV show Love Island.

The 23-year-old decided to leave the popular ITV reality show on Tuesday night after bravely opening up about his mental health, saying that he didn’t feel like he was the best version of himself.

O’Neill spent yesterday morning by catching up with his former team-mates at the Jungle. The Tigers have announced that O’Neill can receive support from the club’s welfare officer should he wish to do so.

Lineham heading to Championship

Wakefield winger Tom Lineham will spend the rest of the season in the Championship with Featherstone Rovers on loan.

Saints forward loaned to Hull KR

Hull KR have signed St Helens back-rower Sam Royle on a two-week loan. He has made four appearances for Kristian Woolf’s side this season.

Wales international joins Whitehaven

Whitehaven have signed Wales international Curtis Davies from Championship neighbours Workington Town for the next month.
The hooker joined Town earlier in the campaign following the conclusion of Elite 1 competition in France having played with Villeneuve.
