Salford coach Iestyn Harris is soon to leave the club, according to a report from BBC Manchester.

Rumours have linked the former Welsh international with the exit door at the AJ Bell Stadium for a while now, but it appears that he is in severance talks with Salford.

His contract was set to run until the end of next season, and he has been on sick leave from work for a while now.

Ian Watson has been the Red Devils’ interim coach, while Tim Sheens has also been appointed as the club’s director of rugby.
