Radford: We have to be smarter

Hull FC head coach Lee Radford says his side have to be more disciplined with ball when they take on the Huddersfield Giants.

The Black and Whites head to the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday.

“We’ve got to be better with the football, no doubt about that whatsoever,” Radford told the club website.

“We’ve got to show more discipline with the football and have a little bit more respect for it.”

“Some of the contacts was physically as good as I’ve seen in a long time. We’ve got to make sure we take that into Thursday and fix up.”

Radford was pleased with the defensive urgency Hull FC showed against Catalans last week,
