Radford demands Hull home strength

Hull FC coach Lee Radford is determined that his team start building some real momentum in their home form.

The Airlie Birds welcome St Helens to Hull this Friday evening in Super League, with the teams playing for the Steve Prescott Cup.

Radford is proud to play for the trophy, and wants to see a real inspirational performance from his troops.

“What his charity is doing still is fantastic and the fact that both clubs come together and put something for him to be remembered by is great,” he told his club’s official website.

“We’re the current holders, too, and hopefully that will be the case come the end of the season.

“We don’t want to be terrified to play at home with the moans and groans and all the rest of it.

“We’ve got to put a performance in and start building that momentum at home as that’s really important for how successful you are throughout the year and the drum will be getting banged this week.”
