Puletua to sue Salford – report

Correspondent

Former Salford and St Helens forward Tony Puletua is about to take the Red Devils to court, according to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald.

The former Samoan international forward wants to claim £50,000 in what he alleges are unpaid monies.

Salford owner Dr Marwan Koukash is currently looking at buying a club in the NRL.

Should Puletua succeed in his case, it could have potentially negative consequences for any bid by Koukash to purchase an NRL team.
