Karl Pryce has signed a new contract with Dewsbury for the 2015 season.

Pryce, 28, joined the Rams at the start of 2013 following spells with Wigan, Harlequins and Bradford, as well as a stint in rugby union with Gloucester.

Coach Glenn Morrison said: “Karl came to us with a lot of big-game experience under his belt and we’ve really felt the benefit of that.

“Due to problems with his back he didn’t have a pre-season, and he’s had injections in his back to play for parts of this season.

“But he’s shown great form, particularly during the last few months, and is a huge presence for us in attack and defence.

“As we build for 2015, I’m looking forward to seeing him at full fitness and with a full pre-season behind him.”

Pryce, who made his 50th appearance for the club against Keighley, has scored 20 tries for the Rams.
