PNG beat Tonga in Lae

Papua New Guinea have emerged victorious from an entertaining Test match against Tonga in Lae.

PNG took an early lead from an Adex Wera try to lead 6-0, before the Tongans hit back with three unconverted, and unanswered tries.

A Gary Lo try under the sticks, converted by Israel Eliab, evened things up just before the break.

The Kumuls dominated the second half, with tries from Lo again, Thompson Teteh and Wartovo Puara, to one from Tonga, giving them an unassailable lead.
