Teenager Jay Pitts could make his Leeds debut against Salford on Friday after he was named in Brian McClennan’s 19 man squad.

Back-rower Pitts, 19, joined the Rhinos in July from Wakefield and has made six appearances for the club’s reserve academy.

He made 22 appearances for the Wildcats in Super League before making the move to Headingley, and is joined in the squad by fellow youngster Kallum Watkins.

The Rhinos are without Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Keith Senior through suspension but captain Kevin Sinfield is included after receiving clearance from medical specialists following a hand injury.
