Paul Gallen to play at Super League Grand Final

Australia legend Paul Gallen and ex-Great Britain star Dean Sampson will take part in the first Physical Disability Rugby League match to be played ahead of the Super League Grand Final.

Wakefield’s players will line-up alongside former Cronulla Sharks and New South Wales captain Gallen, while Castleford will play alongside former Great Britain legend Sampson, who made more than 400 appearances for the Tigers during his career.

The PDRL opener will be the first game of its kind at a Grand Final at Old Trafford on October 12.

The game follows a match at Magic Weekend between Warrington and Leeds.

The Wakefield-Castleford game will kick off at 4:55pm at Old Trafford.
