Parramatta confirm Hock interest

Parramatta Eels have confirmed their interest in signing Wigan second-rower Gareth Hock.

Hock, 29, has worked his way back to the top of his game and the England set-up just 18 months after returning from a two-year drugs ban.

He still has three years left on his Warriors deal, but could be offered a four-year deal to move Down Under.

Eels chief executive Ken Edwards said: “I can confirm we are in discussions only, at this time.”

Hock scored 14 tries in 30 appearances for Wigan in 2012, and is approaching 200 career appearances for his hometown club.
