Sidelined Salford forward Rob Parker has signed a new two-year deal at The Willows.

Parker, 27, is currently out of action with a fractured skull but is hoping to return before the end of the season.

He joins Luke Adamson in committing his future to the club.

Parker said: “I’m delighted to be remaining at Salford for the next two years and to have secured my future. I was initially offered a two year contract at the start of last season but agreed to just one to see how I settled in. I really enjoyed my time an am now confident that Salford is where I want to be.

“I look forward to what the next two years will bring including the move to the new stadium at Barton and will relish the opportunity to play at our new home.”

Parker joined the Reds at the beginning of this season after three seasons at Warrington, and has previously played for Bradford and London Broncos in rugby league.
