O’Loughlin relishing chance to represent England at Wigan

England captain Sean O’Loughlin is looking forward to playing in the Third Test this weekend at his club ground in Wigan.

The DW Stadium hosts the deciding clash of the three-game series this Saturday, and O’Loughlin is hoping for some hometown inspiration.

“From my point of view, I can’t wait to go back to Wigan. I’m looking forward to it massively,” he told his club’s official website.

“I’m looking forward to it on Saturday. Playing the game at Wigan, hopefully captaining the side again and being involved in a win and hopefully a series win.”

There has been speculation that England coach Steve McNamara may well make changes to his team for the game, after an underwhelming attacking display in London last week.

O’Loughlin is leaving that decision very much up to his coach.

“I don’t know. Steve will probably have a look at that this week,” he said.

“The lads who have not been involved have all been training well and are desperate for a chance.”
