North Queensland 42-14 Wests

North Queensland recorded a resounding 42-14 home win over the Wests Tigers in a scrappy game in Townsville.

Antonio Kafuasi’s early try was replied to by Taniela Tuiaki but the Cowboys wasted no time by registering tries through Carl Webb and Matty Bowen.

Robbie Farah’s neat collect and grubber kick put John Morris over to peg the home side back before the end of the half.

Tim Moltzen cut through the home defence to give the Tigers hope but two quick tries from the John Williams and his namesake Ty to complete the rout
