No panic buys for Hull KR

Hull KR coach Chris Chester has revealed that the Robins will not be rushed into making a new signing, despite their disappointing form in pre-season so far.

Rovers were hammered 60-20 by Hull FC at the weekend, and have also lost to Huddersfield Giants in their pre-season games so far.

“We’re looking all over – myself and Jamie (Peacock, head of rugby) get players sent to us every single day,” Chester told the Hull Daily Mail.

“The player has just got to be the right quality and fit into the culture here. Myself and Jamie will sit down with the CEO Mike Smith and discuss our options.

“There is a bit of movement but not a great deal. We’ve got five quota spots and they’re completely full.”
