Mike Greenhalgh has put pen to paper on a new one-year deal with London Skolars.

The 24-year-old joins his twin brother, Judd, in remaining at the New River Stadium in 2019.

Greenhalgh was limited to just nine appearances last season due to injuries but he is now back to full fitness.

On extending his stay in the capital, Greenhalgh said: “I’m really looking forward to this season.

“With a few new faces in the squad, I think we can do really well. Having discussed the direction of the club, I was more than happy to re-sign.”

Skolars’ coach Jermaine Coleman commented: “Mike had a disrupted season last year due to injuries and a slow start but when he is fully fit, he’s a destructive player.

“We’re working hard this year on improving the qualities he has and developing the areas of improvement.

“With a big pre-season, I expect Mike to be a real leader in our forwards.”
