Menzies set for Catalans bow

Veteran back-rower Steve Menzies will don the Catalans jersey for the first time on Saturday in a friendly against Championship club Toulouse.

Menzies, 37, moved to the south of France in the close season after two years at Bradford, but missed last weekend’s defeat at the hands of Crusaders.

Fellow new signings Vincent Duport and Ian Henderson both miss out through injury, as does stand-off Thomas Bosc.

However, France international full-back Clint Greenshields return, while youngsters Eloi Pelissier and Mathias Pala will feature.
