St Helens are favourites to top the Super League table but Wigan to scoop Grand Final glory, according to the Betfred Media Challenge.

A total of 94 members of the rugby league press have submitted their predictions of how the table will finish, from 1-12.

And in a reverse of last season, the tips add up to Saints winning the League Leaders’ Shield and Wigan winning the Grand Final.

Nobody has predicted Saints or Wigan to finish outside of the top three, while predictions of Huddersfield range from 2nd to 11th.

Other than St Helens and Wigan, only Warrington (2) and Leeds (1) had predictions to finish top, with Hull FC and Salford also getting a single vote each to win the Grand Final.

Leigh are favourites to finish bottom, with Hull KR and Wakefield the only other two clubs to be predicted to finish 12th.

Favourites for the challenge cup are St Helens, with only Catalans, Leigh and Wakefield not receiving a tip to win the famous old trophy.
