Matt Ryan departs from Wakefield

Wakefield have confirmed that back rower Matt Ryan has left the club with immediate effect.

The Australian joined Trinity from Parramatta Eels in 2014.

Wakefield chairman Michael Carter is grateful for the player’s efforts in a Trinity shirt.

“I’d like to thank Matt for all his efforts at Wakefield Trinity,” he said.

“And I wish him all the very best for the future.”
