Matt Davis returns to London on loan

Warrington have confirmed that front-rower Matt Davis has re-joined London on a one-month loan deal.

Davis made his debut for London in 2016 under then head coach Andrew Henderson and was part of the Broncos squad that defied all odds and gained promotion to the top flight, defeating Toronto in the Million Pound Game.

The 22-year old joined Steve Price’s side on a two-year deal prior to the start of the 2019 season but has most recently been on dual-registration at Championship side Rochdale Hornets.

Davis is eligible to play for the Broncos this Friday against second-placed St Helens.

On the move, Broncos Head Coach Danny Ward said: “Matty is a great lad with an attitude to match and we are sure he will add lots to the group.

“He was a big part of the Broncos and what we have achieved over the last few years and it’s great to have him back.”
