Mason Caton-Brown has been named in the Toronto Wolfpack squad for their Qualifiers clash with Hull KR this week.

Caton-Brown, 25, was forced to watch the game at Halifax from the sidelines following a dispute an apparent over his transfer fee.

It was revealed that Wakefield had contacted the RFL to stop his registration having not received the fee, though chairman Michael Carter confirmed on Twitter earlier this week that everything was now sorted.

Caton-Brown told the club’s official website: “I’m really enjoying it, a lot warmer than expected. It’s a big city, it’s a bit similar to London where I’m from.

“It’s a really good, tight unit as a team so I just want to get involved and do what I can do, see what I can bring.

“I’m really looking forward to getting out on Saturday in front of the Toronto fans, I can’t wait.”

It will be the first time a Super League side has played in Toronto, since the Wolfpack came in to existence ahead of last season.

They have played twice against top flight opposition before – losing 66-10 away to Warrington in this year’s Challenge Cup, and 29-22 at Salford in the same competition last season.

Toronto 19-man squad: Wheeler, McCrone, Brierley, Buchanan, Beswick, Sims, Dixon, Ackers, Sidlow, Whiting, Rawsthorne, Paterson, Hopkins, Emmitt, O’Brien, Lussick, Stanley, Caton-Brown.

Hull KR: Quinlan, Vaivai, McGuire, Scruton, Lunt, Masoe, Greenwood, Kavanagh, Donaldson, Clarkson, Lee, Mulhern, Salter, Atkin, Wardill, Tickle, Tomkins, Hall, Crooks.
