Manly Sea Eagles reach agreement with ex-coach Trent Barrett

Trent Barrett won’t be sighted at Manly until his contract expires in July after both parties reached an agreement over his future.

The Australian would still be employed by the club, but he won’t attend work during that time unless required to do so by the Sea Eagles.

Des Hasler was appointed as the club’s new head coach last month and that left the club with two coaches.

Barrett’s decision to quit the Sea Eagles in July resulted in Hasler’s signing, but Barrett and Many have now reached an agreement.

In a statement released by Manly, it read: “On the understanding that Trent abides by his obligations under his employment contract, he is entitled to and will be paid each month in accordance with his contract.”
