London Broncos have signed Jordan Abdull from Hull FC for an undisclosed fee.

Abdull, 22, made 54 first team appearances for the Airlie Birds but handed in a transfer request earlier this year.

He said: “I am delighted to be able to have a new opportunity in Super League down in the Capital.

“It’s a really big move for me and I am  looking forward to living and working in a new city and hopefully I can have a good year on the field and help the side in every way that I can.”

Abdull spent 2017 on loan at Hull KR, scoring 12 tries in 23 appearances in the Championship.

Broncos coach, Danny Ward, said: “We are very pleased to have Jordan on board at the Broncos. He is an exciting, young British half-back who already has Super League experience with Hull FC.

“Jordan is a player I have liked since I coached the Academy against him a few years ago and am now really looking forward to working with him as we move into the 2019 season.”
