Lomax set for Magic Weekend

Jonny Lomax‘s knee injury is not serious and the St Helens star is expected to be right to play at Magic Weekend.

Lomax injured his knee in Saints 34-20 win over Salford. The fullback was replaced and there were fears he had done serious damage again.

But Keiron Cunningham has confirmed that Lomax has recovered well and could face Huddersfield this weekend in Newcastle.

The club tweeted: “KC tells press today Jonny Lomax is fine and should be ok for Sunday McDonnell has been ill and is now ready for selection.”
