Locke return delayed

Kevin Locke‘s planned comeback from a sternum injury has been shelved after he failed a fitness test.

Full back Locke had hoped to feature in the Warriors’ reserve grade side Auckland Warriors against Cronulla in the NSW Cup on Saturday, but has instead been ruled out.

The 23-year-old New Zealand international has been on the sidelined since suffering the injury early in the Warriors’ Anzac Day clash with Melbourne last month.

He has enjoyed a less-than-happy start to the season missing three matches with a dead leg before falling victim to injury again against the Storm.
