Leigh Centurions 2022 squad numbers announced

Leigh Centurions have announced their 2022 squad numbers.

Leigh have confirmed their squad numbers for their 2022 Championship campaign.

Ben Reynolds and Joe Mellor will partner in the halves in 2022 with shirt numbers six and seven respectively. Mark Ioane will wear shirt number 10.

Winger Jayden Hatton has not received a shirt number.

The club has also confirmed that Mellor and Adam Sidlow will be joint-captains in 2022.

New signings

Former NRL utility Caleb Aekins will wear shirt number one in 2022.

Tonga international Ata Hingano has received the number 15 shirt. The 24-year-old has previously featured for New Zealand Warriors and Canberra Raiders before making the switch to the UK with Salford. He joins Leigh on a one-year deal.

St Helens youngster Aaron Smith gets the number nine shirt. He joins the club on a season-long loan.

Latest signing Kieran Dixon will wear number 20 for Leigh. He signed on a permanent deal following a successful trial with the club. Dixon has represented England Knights and played for Hull KR in their Challenge Cup final defeat to Leeds in 2015.

Papua New Guinea international Edwin Ipape will wear shirt number 21 for the Centurions in 2022.
