Leeds Rhinos have been boosted by the return of captain Kruise Leeming in their 21-man squad to face Huddersfield this Wednesday, live on Sky Sports.

The England World Cup hopeful is amongst a number of players returning for Rohan Smith’s squad.

Leeming, 26, has been sidelined for the last seven weeks due to a foot injury. Meanwhile, Tom Briscoe is also back in contention having recovered from an ankle injury. The off-contract winger could feature for the first time under head coach Smith.

Winger David Fusitu’a has completed his suspension and is also available for selection. Liam Tindall misses out, having sustained a thumb injury in the victory over Warrington last Friday. Cameron Smith is also unavailable due to a leg injury.

It is the only Super League game on Wednesday, with an 8pm kick-off live on Sky Sports. A victory for the Rhinos could leave them just one-point behind fourth-placed Catalans.

Pryce returns for Giants

Will Pryce has returned to Huddersfield’s squad for Wednesday’s Round 25 tie.

He is the only change to Ian Watson’s side, who named a 20-man squad for last week’s fixture against Castleford. They picked up a 36-10 victory at the John Smith’s Stadium to secure their place in the play-offs for the first time since 2015.

Huddersfield sit three points behind Wigan, who host St Helens on Friday.
