There were a couple of hefty scorelines in League 1 on the weekend.

York City Knights produced an aggressive and solid performance to ease past Workington Town 40-8 at Bootham Crescent on Sunday. Hull KR duo Will Dagger and Will Oakes featured for the Knights on dual-registration. The crowd was 1,399 thanks to some clever marketing by York as well as a good travelling contingent from Workington.

Paul Crook racked up a tally of 20 points as Oldham thrashed Coventry Bears 60-0 at the Butts Park Arena to take their winning streak to seven games. Wakefield winger lee Kershaw featured for the Roughyeds on loan. Dave Hewitt put in a stellar display.

Hunslet came from being 18-0 down to stretch their winning run to four games against London Skolars at New River Stadium on Saturday. Cain Southernwood scored two tries to help Hunslet run-out 37-30 winners in the capital.

Bradford Bulls demolished North Wales Crusaders 50-12 at Odsal Stadium on Saturday. Lee Smith, Ethan Ryan and Matty Garside all scored two tries each for the Bulls. Dane Chisholm kicked seven goals and also crossed for a try. Papua New Guinea front-rower Wellington Albert featured for Crusaders on dual-registration from Widnes.

Hemel Stags claimed their first win of the season thanks to a 48-12 scoreline against West Wales Raiders at Stebonheath Park. The Raiders are still looking for their first win and RFL interim chief executive Ralph Rimmer was in attendance.

Newcastle Thunder claimed a crucial 30-22 victory over Whitehaven at Kingston Park. Lewis Young and Tuoyo Egodo both bagged a brace. Egodo featured for Newcastle on loan from Castleford, while Liam Cooper and Josh Eaves played for Haven on loan from St Helens.

Doncaster returned to winning ways with a 29-20 victory over Keighley Cougars at the Keepmoat Stadium on Sunday. Jack Sanderson, Lewis Bienek, Jordan Lane and Ross Osborne featured for the Dons on dual-registration from Hull FC.

Bradford are at the top of League 1, two points above York. West Wales are rock bottom, having lost all 11 of their games so far this season.
