Kevin Proctor has been found guilty of biting Shaun Johnson by the judiciary in the NRL.

The Titans captain became the first ever NRL player to be sent off for biting following his clash with Cronulla Sharks half-back Shaun Johnson.

The back-rower has been found guilty of Dangerous Contact (other – biting), and has been suspended for four matches, despite the Sharks star and Kiwi teammate testifying on his behalf.

It was the New Zealand international’s 250th career game against the Sharks, and he became just the second player to be sent off in the 2020 NRL season.

Proctor is without a contract for next season.
