Doncaster head coach Tony Miller has named Kyle Kesik as his captain for the Dons 2013 campaign.

Kesik, 23, is currently the longest serving member of the squad and replaces Craig Robinson who lifted both the league leaders shield and grand final trophy last season.

Second rower Robinson will be the club captain for the year with both Paul Cooke and Mike Emmett being vice captains to Kesik.

Miller said: “Kyle wears his heart on his sleeve and gives nothing but 110% in every game.

“He’s a consistent performer on the field and I know he’ll lead the team by example.

“Robbo did a tremendous job for us last season and he’ll be a great club captain for us this season.”

Castleford born Kesik will lead the blue and gold’s out this Sunday for the Dons first league game of the new Championship season against Dewsbury Rams.
