League One side Keighley have signed former Warrington winger Taylor Prell on a deal until the end of 2020.

Prell, 22, was a rugby union convert who signed for the Wolves from Yorkshire Carnegie after catching the eye of then coach Tony Smith.

He never managed to break in to the Warrington first team, and had spells on loan with North Wales and on dual-registration with Rochdale, before leaving the Halliwell Jones Stadium at the end of last season.

Cougars Head of Rugby Gary Moorby said: “We are excited to have secured the signing of 22 year old Taylor.

“He has an impressive pedigree in rugby union having played at international level for England.

“We are confident he will fit in well with the future plans at Cougar Park, as a winger or fullback he is a great addition to the squad.”
