Kearney set for Warriors job

Stephen Kearney is being lined up to replace Andrew MacFadden as the coach of the New Zealand Warriors.

According to reports, MacFadden is to be axed from the NRL club tomorrow.

Broncos assistant and New Zealand national team coach Kearney is expected to be handed the reins.

The Warriors missed out of the NRL semi-finals this year.

Kearney led the Kiwis to the 2008 World Cup win and the 2014 Four Nations title.

Kieran Foran is also expected to join the Warriors in 2017.
