Karl Pryce rejoins Bradford

Bradford Bull have announced the signing of Karl Pryce on a one year deal.

Pryce returns to his former club after spells at Wigan, Harlequins RL and Gloucester RU.

He left the Bulls in 2006 to try his hand at rugby union, but returned to league joining Wigan ahead of the 2008 season. However a serious foot injury which had occurred playing for Gloucester prevented him from playing the entire season, and he made his Wigan debut in a pre season friendly in December 2008.

Pryce joined Harlequins on loan in 2011 before rejoining Bradford ahead of the new 2012 season.

Pryce said: “I’m just delighted to be back here because I’ve missed the place. I said a couple of years ago that I’d always love to come back to Bradford.

“I said when I left the club five years ago that I’d absolutely love to one day return. I’ve taken the long way round, via Gloucester, Wigan and Harlequins, but I’m happy to be back.

“To play for my hometown club again is special. Coming through the ranks at Bradford I think I took that a little bit for granted. I’ve played in Wigan-St Helens derbies and I’m really looking forward to getting back into a Bradford-Leeds derby again.”
