Italian Exiles ARL are launched

The Italian Exiles ARL have been launched this week. This team has been set up with links to the Federation of Italian Rugby League (FIRL) for UK based players of Italian heritage to come together under one banner.

To qualify, players will fit at least one of the following criteria;
– Be born in Italy
– Parent/Grandparent be born in Italy
– Been resident of Italy for at least 3 years.

The initial aim is to drum up interest from qualifying players before entering a team in various tournaments, including an ‘Exiles RLWC’ to be held next Summer as part of the full ‘RLWC’ celebrations.
