Israel Folau has been named in Catalans’ 21-man squad for their Super League clash with Castleford on Saturday.

Folau, 30, hasn’t played a first grade rugby league game since turning out for Brisbane against Canberra in September 2010.

There has been much attention over his arrival in Perpignan, and there has been unprecedented media interest in the Dragons’ training this week.

The Australian will wear shirt number four for Catalans.

Also available for Steve McNamara is Lewis Tierney, who is back from an injury suffered in pre-season.

They are still without David Mead, Mickael Simon, Sam Moa, Alrix Da Costa, Mickael Goudemand and Tom Davies through injury.
