The draw for the Under 19s European Championship next year is set to be broadcast on Facebook Live this Friday, at 4pm.

Taking place in Belgrade, Serbia, the competition will see the eight teams divided into three pots – France and England top seeds; Scotland and Wales seconds seeds; and the remaining nations in the third grouping.

The other nations include the hosts, Serbia, Russia and Ireland, while the final spot will be decided by a qualification tie between Italy and Ukraine.

Double-header match-days will be staged at two venues and all eight nations will play for rankings on finals day on August 11, which will see the champions crowned.

RLEF General Manager, Danny Kazandijan, said: “Next year will see the adoption of a new RLEF eight-year strategy with an invigorated media component whose purpose will be to raise the profile of the RLEF’s members and competitions.

“This early draw will allow the nations to plot their build-up and ensures an exciting launch of what promises to be a fantastic competition which shows the growth of the junior game across the continent.”
