Injury blow for Gale

Bradford scrum half Luke Gale could be out for up to two months with an ankle injury.

Gale, 23, picked up the injury in the 54-16 defeat to Wigan 10 days ago, and will have an operation which will rule him out for at least six weeks.

Bulls Football Manager Stuart Duffy said: “We are really disappointed for Luke but it’s better he has the operation now so as to give him the earliest chance of returning to the side.”

The Leeds academy graduate moved to Bradford on a two-year deal in the close season, after spending three seasons in the capital with Harlequins.
