Hunslet have signed Loz Wildbore from South Wales Scorpions on a one-year deal.

Wildbore 27 is Hull based and has alot of experience of playing in the Championship and will provide the club with real utility value as he can cover back row and halfback as well as centre and fullback.

A product of West Hull, Wildbore moved to Hull FC academy followed by spells at Hull KR, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Doncaster, Featherstone Rovers, Widnes Vikings, Dewsbury Rams and York City Knights.

He will be known to fans in Wales for scoring for Featherstone Rovers against against Celtic Crusaders in 2008, a year that he picked up seven trophies at the Rovers end of season awards ceremony including first team player of the year and players’ player. He is a former England and Great Britain academy international.

Director of Rugby Darren Williams said “I’m delighted to welcome Loz to South Leeds, i know what he’s capable of as i tried unsuccessfully to bring him to the club in 2009 but without doubt he will be a key part of our plans in 2012 and his utility will be of huge value.”
