Hunslet appoint Paul March as new coach

Hunslet have appointed Paul March as player-coach, less than a week after he was sacked by York.

The former Wakefield half back left the Knights following a breach of club discipline and has now made the move to the Hawks as a replacement for the recently departed Graeme Hallas.

Hawks CEO Alan Stephenson said: “The present arrangements suit both Paul and the Hunslet club. We will appraise the situation at the end of the season.”

Paul March added: “I am delighted to join a club with aspirations to succeed.”

Caretaker coach Gary Lord will remain at the club as March’s assistant.
