Hull KR to appeal Boudebza ban

Hull KR are appealing the controversial decision to ban their hooker John Boudebza for the next four weeks.

Boudebza has been suspended for a month for his tackle that injured Michael Shenton.

Initially the French forward faced a one or two week ban after being placed on report in Sunday’s game.

But the Tribunal has extended his ban because of “specified aggravating factors”. Shenton is expected to miss the whole 2016 season with an ACL injury.
