Hull KR confirm season-ending injury to Elliot Minchella

Hull KR forward Elliot Minchella has suffered a season-ending injury, the club have confirmed.

The Robins’ vice-captain left the action in their defeat to St Helens on Thursday due to injury, and scans have now revealed that he has suffered an ACL injury and will not feature against this season.

A Hull KR statement read: “The club’s physio and rehabilitation staff will be working closely with Elliot to ensure a full and speedy recovery.”

Minchella has made 18 appearances for Hull KR since joining the club from Bradford ahead of the 2020 season.
