Hull KR confirm record crowd for Rhinos clash

Hull KR will set a new stadium record for attendance when they welcome Leeds Rhinos to east Hull this afternoon.

Ticket sales for the game now top 11,526, the previous record for the KC Lightstream Stadium, set when the Rhinos were the visitors last season.

“It’s going to be a fantastic event on Sunday with loads of entertainment planned around the game,” said Rovers CEO Mike Smith.

“It’s our first opportunity to make a statement about the direction of the club on and off the field and hopefully a good start will see these fans come back week after week.”
