Hull KR bounce back with big win

Hull KR have bounced back from their shock loss in the Challenge Cup to defeat Castleford convincingly 16-58.

The Robins notched just their third victory in 2016 with the massive 42-point win over the Tigers at the Jungle.

Maurice Blair got the opening try, with scores by Thomas Minns, Albert Kelly and Graeme Horne in the first 40. But Castleford kept in touch and Hull KR took a 16-20 lead into the break.

The Robins extended their lead in the second half as Minns grabbed his second and third tries, while four-pointers came to Mitch Allgood and two each to Ken Sio and Iain Thornley.

After an upset against Oldam last weekend, Hull KR cut loose after the interval. They second 38 points in the second half and did not concede a single point.

Shaun Lunt and Paul McShane were also sin-binned after a fracas.
