A late Ben Fisher try helped Hull KR see off St Helens in a thrilling game at Craven Park.

Gary Wheeler gave the visitors an early lead, but Rovers rallied with 16 unanswered points, thanks to a brace from Liam Colbon and a score from the returning Ben Galea.

But Saints turned the game around before the break, with tries from Kyle Eastmond, Scott Moore and Francis Meli to go in at half time 20-16 up.

Colbon’s hat-trick try edged the home side back in front but the scoring exchange continued when Chris Dean notched a four pointer to give Saints a slender 24-22 advantage.

And with time running out, Fisher darted in under the posts to steal the points for the home side and send Saints to their second defeat of the season.
