Huddersfield and Warrington game brought forward

Huddersfield Giants’ home game against Warrington Wolves has been brought forward to Thursday 8 February.

The game was originally scheduled to be played on Sunday 11 February but Huddersfield Town FC’s Premier League game against Bournemouth has been moved to the Sunday, and will be broadcast on television.

The Giants have confirmed that the Betfred Round 2 Super League clash at the John Smith’s Stadium will now take place on Thursday 8 February, 7:45pm kick-off.

And the change of date was out of the hands of both clubs, with it being the only available date that Kirklees Stadium Development Ltd and Huddersfield Town FC would agree to within the permitted time frame for Round 2.
