Huddersfield have named Theo Fages in their 21-man squad to face Catalans this Friday.

The French international missed their Challenge Cup sixth round win over Barrow Raiders over the weekend in Cumbria.

He has made just two appearances for the Giants so far this season, having joined the club during the off-season from St Helens on a three-year deal.

Chris Hill, Chris McQueen, Josh Jones and Jack Cogger also return to Ian Watson’s Huddersfield squad.

The Giants claimed their spot in the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup following their 30-16 victory over Barrow in Cumbria last Sunday.

Dragons missing key men

Steve McNamara will be without a number of key players for their trip to the John Smith’s Stadium.

Mitchell Pearce and Jordan Dezaria continue to miss out through suspension.

Julian Bousquet, Micky McIlorum, Dean Whare and Arthur Mourgue will miss the game through injury. France international Benjamin Jullien also misses out, having suffered concussion in their game against Featherstone last week.

Like Huddersfield, Catalans booked their place in the last eight of the cup following a hard-fought 27-14 victory over the Championship leaders.

Fouad Yaha crossed for a brace, while Sam Kasiano, Tyrone May and Tom Davies also scored. Full-back Sam Tomkins converted three goals and kicked a drop-goal.
