Huddersfield announce women’s squad

Huddersfield Giants women’s head coach Steve Stead has announced his squad for the 2018 season.

There are still five places up for grabs in the side.

Following successful trials in January, Stead, along with assistant coaches James Westerby and Ben Dawson, have put together the first Huddersfield Giants women’s team.

The Giants are still looking to add members to their squad ahead of the new season. If anybody is interested in joining then email Stead on steve.stead@huddersfieldcommunitytrust.co.uk.

Players are dual-registered, so they can still play for their community club as well.

The team are also looking for a physiotherapist, strength and conditioning coach, assistant coach, team manager, female matchday assistant and videographer on a voluntary basis.
