Homegrown Lovell gets Broncos chance

London Broncos have re-signed back-rower Will Lovell on a one-year deal.

Lovell, 24, is a product of the Broncos academy and made 33 appearances between 2012 and 2014.
He spent time on dual-registration with London Skolars before making the move permanent.

A trial with the Broncos in 2016 came to nothing after he suffered an injury, but he has worked with the club since within their community department.

Head Coach Danny Ward said, “Will has really impressed during the trial here in pre-season. He has been on our radar since he played for London Skolars and all credit to him for keeping in such good shape during his difficult injuries.

“We decided, having watched him this last few weeks, that we were happy to offer him a contract.

“He can offer something different, due to his size, on the edges and at the end of the day Will is one of us and is London Broncos through and through.”
