Henjak: ‘no rush’ with Inglis

Despite being in the midst of a legal dispute with Melbourne, Greg Inglis will start training with Brisbane soon, according to Broncos coach Ivan Henjak.

Inglis missed the Broncos’ first pre-season on Monday, despite a declaration from Storm bosses that he could take part.

Brisbane coach Ivan Henjak said he is confident Inglis will soon be ready for training.

“It’s not something that we’re overly concerned about, its something that the salary cap people need to sort out with Greg and Melbourne,” Henjak said.

“We’re not in any rush, were all confident that its going to be done and that he’ll be playing with us.

Henjak said Inglis, who is currently recovering from a shoulder injury, should make his first appearance in Broncos colours during the club’s pre-season trials.

“There’s no dramas with the injury, he is on track with that, and we are still looking at a timeframe of him being back for our trial against the Cowboys in Alice Springs,” Henjak said.
