Henderson set for retirement

Sydney Roosters hooker Ian Henderson could retire after suffering a horrific leg break in the NRL, Love Rugby League understands.

Henderson only joined the Roosters a few months ago from Catalans.

The Australian broke his leg badly against the Cowboys in round three and is expected to be out for the rest of 2016.

Henderson underwent an operation on Friday. According to one source, the injury is that bad that the 32-year old may be forced to hang up his boots.

Henderson has played close to 300 games in the NRL and Super League for the Roosters, Parramatta, Bradford, the New Zealand Warriors and Catalans.
